Bramhall boasts a tradition of over 150 years designing and manufacturing the highest quality solid wood furniture and landscape products. Over the years we have supplied our customers with street furniture and landscape products for some of the UK’s most well-known public spaces and redevelopment projects.
Client satisfaction and service is the heart of Bramhall 1840. We offer a complete in-house solution, right from design all the way to production and delivery to site. Due to our heritage working with hardwood we are uniquely qualified to advise our clients on how best to realise their design ideas, whilst staying within budget, and never compromising on quality.
We have built a large portfolio of products through our work with landscape designers, construction engineers, architects, local authorities, conservation groups and charities. While we do not offer a stock range, as all our items are bespoke, we do have core products that are available on short lead times. All our products are finished by hand to ensure the highest standards and are made to meet the demands of both modern and traditional settings.
Bramhall believes in sustainability, and we are committed to using timber from environmentally sustainable sources. We only buy certified timber, so our customers can rest assured that what we provide is sourced legally and is environmentally sustainable.
FSC® certified products available on request
FSC® certification is internationally recognised as the benchmark for responsible forestry with certification meaning that the forest of origin of FSC timber has been independently inspected and evaluated according to strict principles and criteria as agreed by the Forest Stewardship Council®.
Well-managed forests provide a wide range of social and economic benefits and environmental services, such as livelihoods for people and habitats for animals and plants. FSC standards ensure that these benefits and services are realised and are not disregarded in favour of other management objectives, such as carbon storage.

Bramhall 1840 are committed to using timber from environmentally sustainable sources and are certified under the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
The PEFC provides an assurance mechanism to purchasers of wood and paper products that they are promoting the sustainable management of forests.
The scheme ensures an independently accredited supply chain where the wood used in products can be traced back to sustainable managed forests. The programme has a number of important aims which include encouraging biodiversity in nature whilst ensuring that forestry is economically viable and socially beneficial.
